If the situation ever arises when you have to deal with auto repair problems, if you don’t know what you’re doing then it can become a very time-consuming process. Below we have some tips on how to narrow down your search and make it a stress-free experience.
- Ask around – Most of the time, you can probably find someone you know that already works or worked with a respectable shop before. Getting a word-of-mouth recommendation is possibly the easiest way to choose the right mechanic shop. For example, if you live in Northampton then ask around if anyone knows a mechanic in Northampton.
- Research before an emergency – Often times when you are in a rush to get something repaired, like a busted radiator, chances are you won’t make the best decision in mechanics. However, if you give yourself some time to figure out a connection ahead of time, then you won’t have to frantically search around when something happens.
- Don’t choose based only on price – Obviously the price of a service is a big factor, but don’t automatically opt for the cheapest service that you find. Be sure to do proper research and compare everything. You’ll find that sometimes the cheapest service isn’t the worst, and the most expensive service isn’t necessarily the best.
- Check for any online reviews – Despite the awesome recommendations that your friends and family gave you, there’s still a need to check the online reviews if there are any. It’s possible that your car has a problem that they didn’t experience, and maybe the shop isn’t as good with other repairs. Check the reviews online to see if any other customer had a similar problem to yours, or possible a similar car to yours. To easily find mechanics in your area then be sure to check out Top Car Mechanics.
- Get estimates – If you’re stuck in a spot where you absolutely have to get some emergency repairs, then at least do yourself the favor of asking around for estimates. Get a written estimate from all the places you are considering so that you have something to use for negotiations, and it will also help to make sure the shop doesn’t tack on extra fees.
The Walmart located here has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Employees are rude for no reason, and this has happened on numerous occasions. In the automotive center, there are individuals attending the counter that have no idea what they are doing, and no idea what they are talking about. When you try to tell them that they have entered your information or your vehicle’s information incorrectly, you are met with a dirty look and sarcastic comments. To find a manager or anyone in charge in this store are nearly impossible.
In the fabric and craft department, there is no one to be found most times I have been in the store. When I have gone to an employee (when I could find one) to ask for assistance, they act as if they have better things to be doing than to be helping me. If they have better things to be doing than staring up at a shelf pretending to be working, then maybe they should not be at work. I got a glimpse of what one was doing on the computer, they were just on the Walmartone website, browsing aimlessly at random things.
I have never received such bad customer service in any other establishment. This store and maybe even this company needs to review their hiring and training policies for employees. I have worked in retail in the past and I know that if I had acted like any of these people that I have come in contact with in this store, I would have been fired for such performance.
Multiple trips to this store have not changed my opinion. I try not to let one bad experience color my judgment of an establishment, but this has happened here on several occasions.
Every once in a while there’s a tool around the shop that breaks and needs to be replaced, and most of the time it’s just an annoyance to deal with. However, some of those times when tools break can actually be a blessing in disguise, just like when our caliper crapped out on us.
Before getting our brand new Neiko Digital Caliper, we had one that was so old and used that you couldn’t even find a manufacture’s name on it. While doing research on a new one of course I eventually made my way over to Amazon. When I came upon this Neiko I was very impressed with the customer ratings and price, but I was surprised when I dug deeper. As I started to read some of the customer reviews, it seemed there was a common theme occurring over and over again. People were saying that while the product is well made, it definitely isn’t perfectly accurate.
So for myself, I had to read what others were saying about exactly how inaccurate it is, and if that’s okay with the type of tolerances that we have to worry about at the shop. So yea, this Neiko isn’t the best digital caliper on the market, but it sure is nice for the price point, and with free 2-day shipping it really doesn’t get much better.
At the end of the day, if you need some insane type of accuracy, then you really have no business looking at a digital caliper that’s under $100. If you are just a hobbyist or general contractor then this one will do just fine.
The only problem I’ve had with it so far is that the little rubber buttons on it can get wedged or stuck if you press them at the wrong angle. I know it’s not a big deal but just a general problem that can get annoying.
By reading the title you probably already know what this post is about. While making all sorts of upgrades to the inside of the building, we came to realize that we have neglected the carpet quite a bit. This is especially bad since we’ve had so much foot traffic lately while trying to fix everything up. I suppose maybe if we had kept up with the carpet then we wouldn’t need professional cleaners to come out – but it’s bad this time.
First things first, we need to get rid of some of the carpet that’s in the areas that people walk about after people in the lot, and also around the shop area. These areas track in lots of dirt, oil, and grease from outside, and you can really see it taking a toll on the carpet (and you can smell it too). It’s kind of strange how fast it all happened, but I guess that’s what we get for not paying attention.
Anyway, the problem does seem bad enough to call in the heavy guns like carpet cleaning alexandria va. I wish it could be easy enough for us to just go rent a cleaner from the local store but it doesn’t seem possible. Hopefully I can find a company to come out and give us an estimate so that I know what we are working with. I’m assuming the price will be several hundred, but parts of the building are starting to smell like the ground outside and trying to cover up the smell isn’t working too well.
In the areas that we do remove the carpet from, we will likely be placing some nice tiles down in places. Something strong and durable that looks modern and classy at the same time.
Lately we’ve been trying to make some additions to our workshop area, mainly by purchasing some new equipment/tools, as well as creating some type of organization system. Fortunately we have plenty of room to work with, but our budget isn’t comparable in size.
So what can we do to reduce costs?
First of all, we will begin to journey to a revitalized workshop by purchasing “new” tools and equipment. By “new” I mean they will be new to us, but we will buy them used or second-hand from someone else. Most tools are typically built pretty hefty so there isn’t much risk of buying used ones. We will probably compile a little list of what is needed and slowly shop around online and on craigslist. Some of the cheaper tools like a pocket hole jig can be bought brand new because the likelihood of finding a used one locally is slim-to-none.
Speaking of pocket hole jig, once we have our purchases finalized, then we can get started on our storage and organization stuff. Some sites like http://airtoolresource.com/best-pocket-hole-jig-reviews can help us narrow down the selection to the one that best fits our needs. Nowadays there are buying guides for just about any tool that you need to buy, but most of them just show you where to buy it on Amazon (which isn’t bad, we just prefer local first).
Anyway, the pocket hole jig isn’t really needed for the shop, but it will come in very handy when trying to build some more cabinets or something like that. Being able to build our own cabinets and storage areas will save us major bucks because there is nothing cheap about buying tool chests.
At the end of the day, it’s definitely not going to be an overnight process. While it’s not totally necessary that we go through all this effort, it will be best for everyone in the end since we will be able to better service vehicles right here at the lot, instead of having to send it else to make fixes.

The basic requirements to install the Freedom Apk:

It’s all about matched betting – ever heard of it?
What is matched betting anyway? This is a common question in the US because we don’t have sports betting, besides in certain places. Outside of the US, you are able to gamble online on all sorts of sporting events. Gambling is so huge that bookmakers (places you can gamble basically) offer big bonuses just for signing up. From the large amount of these bonuses emerged matched betting.
To the seasoned gambler, matched betting (or bonus hunting) is basically a risk-free type of gambling. You can essentially guarantee some profit by betting on all outcomes of a match, using free bets from bookmakers.
Ok So How Does It Work?
Below I’ll describe the basics of matched betting which should get you started.
- The “Back” Bet – In the traditional sense of gambling, this is one where you think your pick will actually win. If the team, horse, dog, whatever wins, then you win your bet and any associated profits.
- The “Lay” Bet – Ever since the emergence of exchanges like Betfair, the lay bet has become very popular. With the lay bet, you’re essentially saying “I don’t think this will win.” As you expected, if the team you bet on doesn’t win the game, then you win the lay bet.
How Do You Profit From This?
As you probably imagine, matched betting simply works by utilizing your lay bets to cancel out and potential risks from your back bets.
If you bet on both teams then you cannot lose any money.
But you haven’t made any money until you do this:
Later you will produce profit from using bookmaker’s free bet offers.
Your first bet is referred to as a ‘qualifying’ bet, which just means that you will qualify for a free bet afterwards.
Using this free bet, and back and lay bets, you can remove all risk by covering all outcomes and guarantee yourself some profit.
If you work at an office everyday, spending hours hunched over the computer monitor, it is possible you may experience painful eye strain, back problems, or other issues. The key to avoiding such problems is solid prevention, of course. Below, my top tips for making office life bearable (and safe!):
Avoiding eye strain: Every forty-five minutes or so, you should briefly get up and look at something that is not your computer monitor. Get away from that glaring box for a little while; go to the water cooler, the bathroom, or take a stroll down the hallway. Pretend to be visiting the mailroom to check on something. The key here is to avoid sitting at your computer for five or six hours straight. Eye strain and headaches occur when you focus on an object for too long. And, naturally, a bright ultrawide monitor is not the best thing to be looking at in the first place. Look at an object far away, such as another building out the window or a distant cloud, and spend several minutes focusing on it before returning to your desk.
Preventing back problems: Make sure you are using an ergonomic office chair if possible. Also, set it to the correct height; you don’t want to be looking up or down at your monitor. Make an active effort to keep your back straight as opposed to slouching. A slouch of a few minutes is fine, but eight hours a day, five days a week it can lead to back problems down the road.
Diet concerns: Sometimes the convenience of a company snack machine is too much to resist, but you should nevertheless try your best to bring a lunch to work or to take time off to find a healthy lunch somewhere. Snack machine foods are high in carbohydrates, sugar, and chemical additives but are relatively low in actual nutritional value. Avoid them.
Remain hydrated: Take regular water cooler breaks and keep a glass of water (not just a cup of coffee) at your desk. Proper hydration will keep you healthy, productive, and may also decrease your chances of developing headaches at work.
Back in the day, it was rare for us to get an exotic car in stock. It just didn’t fit the theme we had going at the time. Of course we had the typical import cars like BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, and the whole Japanese family.
Well maybe it’s time for a change.
Nowadays, with financing deals getting better and better, it’s not surprising to see some exotic cars on used car lots. Sure, they may not be like the modern super-cars that you see when someone uses a GTA 5 online money cheat. Even though the cars might be 10 years old or so, they’re still special either way. The low price of an aged car paired with a great credit score and financing is what can make the dream become a reality.
Imagine driving by our lot and seeing a beautiful, bright red ’97 Porsche 911 sitting there staring back at you. You not that not only is that car nothing short of amazing, it also give you a taste of the past that is absent in cars from of recent age.
Another part of why having a taste of the past is nice is because of the simplicity of it all. Older cars and classic cars are simple, and lack all the crazy electronics and computers that come standard in cars these days. This also leads the car to being easy to tinker with or be turned into a project.
Anyway, besides the practical reasons of why older cars are better, some are just plain head-turners. Not every old car is a beauty, but many of them that are in good shape are sure to draw some attention because older cars stick out like a sore thumb – in a good way!
Today we will be taking a step into the world of wireless headphones. Although Libratone isn’t a common household name, the amount of sales they have on Amazon would make any consumer at least stop and think about them.
First of all, don’t be fooled into using the Libratone app. It’s not necessary to use the app to connect the headphones to your device, but the app does have some other uses so maybe check it out when you get some free time. The point I want to make is that there is no setup time, just follow the instructions for pairing and you’re good to go.
The Libratone bluetooth headphones have some controls that can seem a bit foreign at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes second-nature. One of the buttons is a switch for different levels of noise cancellation, ranging from “Yes there’s music but I can still hear people” to, “I’m practicing for the lip-reading Olympics.” The other button is simply a power switch – on and off.
The other controls like volume, play, pause, etc. are controlled by touch. Although the instruction manual kind of skipped over some of these commands, they are pretty obvious if you’ve used some devices that has similar features. Double tap to skip a song, triple tap to go back – I think you get the idea. If you aren’t fond about looking like a secret agent out in public while tapping your headphones, then you can use the app to be a bit more discrete.
And the quality of sound? Well, coming from someone that uses Sennheiser headphones religiously for computer use, these Libratone headphones actually impressed me. To my surprise, streaming the music via bluetooth actually sounded the same, if not better, than using the included aux cord.
At the end of the day, there’s something uniquely special about the transition to wireless headphones. The feeling of the headphones not being attached to a device is quite different, and not having to deal with tangled up cords is pretty much the greatest blessing of this century. Even if you don’t go with the Libratone headphones in particular, wireless headphones in general will probably become the future of listening to devices so you might as well get used to them now.
In some of our waiting areas we’ve decided to have some televisions to help kill time, and be comfortable at the same time. The obvious question came up of, what do we even show on the TV? It got to the point where we agreed to just play movies so that it wouldn’t take much effort. However this presented a problem that proved to be tough to solve; what movies do we show?
The idea of just playing movies from a playlist when I personally watched some movies that were on the playlist, and this is when I landed on No Strings Attached watch online.
I’ll start of by saying that I’m not a huge fan of romantic comedies, but this has got to be one of the driest that I’ve encountered so far. The film’s sad attempt at sex humor and adult language is downright cringe-worthy. The only real upside that I see about this movie is that I find it funny how hard the filmmakers tries to reverse the typical gender roles.
Ashton Kutcher plays the role of some sort of wounded animal that is still reeling from being dumped by his ex, for his dad. Then we have Natalie Portman which is the cynical one that finds relationships to be pointless.
Aside from the sad plot and overall idea of the movie, I don’t have a problem with either Ashton or Natalie, but in the movie they just seemed to have no chemistry at all. They were supposed to be what you could call “friends with benefits” but they didn’t even have the buddy vibe to them.
To sum up, this movie is the exact reason why some people detest the romantic comedy category. If you want to get a better taste for the movie then just watch a couple episodes of Two and a Half Men.
Although copper is not a stranger to appliances in the kitchen, it hasn’t been used for sinks until recent years. Nowadays, copper kitchen sinks are the new fad, which is thought of as quite glamorous due to it’s robust color. If you’re in the market for a copper sink then it’s important to keep in mind the different styles of sinks before you make a purchase:
- Drop-In Sinks – These sinks are typically designed to fit precisely into a countertop that is pre-cut for a sink. The installations of these sinks is simple, making it ideal for the DIY project. Although these are the most common and conventional types of sink, in recent years there has been a trend of adding some more flair to them.
- Undermount Sinks – Similar to drop-in sinks, undermount sinks work with pre-cut countertops, but go underneath the granite countertop instead of on-top. This is a very classy look which also frees up countertop real estate and makes cleaning even easier because the lip of the sink is under the countertop.
- Farmhouse Sinks – These are arguably the most fashionable sink style of them all, with a beautiful apron front that sure to turn heads. Farmhouse sinks are the ultimate mix of traditional and contemporary styles, that go well with all themes, from rustic cottages to lofts in the big city.
After you choose the style of sink that you want, then you can do some research on whether or not going for a copper sink is the right decision for you. Copper, as a material, has it’s pros and cons when compared to other materials, so it’s worth doing some reading about copper before jumping to a purchase.
Part of being a buy here pay here business is that we are constantly collecting payments. Until now, you either had to mail in a check, do a bank transfer, or make a cash drop off.
Well the time has come, and we will be accepting payments online as well. You’re probably wondering why it has taken so long for us to make this change, and the answer is that it hasn’t always been easy to get a payment gateway that matches our needs. Before Paypal came around, not many companies were interested in working with companies that were taking in a small amount of online payments. Either that, or the payment processor just wanted too high of a percentage, which cuts into our bottom-line and overall car prices on our lot.
Nowadays there are so many companies out there that has a focus on small businesses, so it’s tough to cut through the noise. We are looking to work with a company like goEmerchant, that gives companies the abilities to integrate their payment gateway with the backend of your own website. That we our customers can make safe and secure payments from the convenience of our website.
It’s been a long time coming, but it is finally time to give our premises a facelift. One of the first aspects that we wanted to update is our showroom and waiting areas. We aim to be able to bring some new furniture into the waiting areas, as well as some new entertainment systems to keep everyone satisfied. What we will show on the televisions is the real question in this situation.
One obvious solution is to just get cable television for the whole building, and just pay extra to have an additional box for every TV that we want to have cable on. The second option is to get a Google Chromecast for every TV, then cast something from a computer to the TVs with Chromecasts, but then comes the question of what do we show.
We think the best option is to go with something like the Show Box app. When you get ShowBox App, it gives you the ability to stream or download free movies and TV shows to your android device. There are plenty of emulators out there that allow you to run a virtual android machine on your PC. From there we would be able to us the Chromecast with the Show Box app on our computer. It may seem complicated at first, but the money we would save in the long run makes up for it.
I know we’ve been making a lot of updates here speaking about our relaunch. Obviously we are trying to get everything wrapped up ASAP so that we can get the ball rolling, but we are taking our time to make sure everything goes smoothly. One of the major updates that we are undergoing is a revamping of our website.
The real truth is that most things when it comes to selling in the automotive industry, is that the technology has been behind. Now after all these years, we need to begin working with a new backend or client management system that also keeps track of the inventory, as well as have everything posted on the site seamlessly. Beyond that, the site needs to be simple to use, load very quickly, and above all else, needs to be easily updated by us or an employee. We are not opposed to using a 3rd party software, as long as it’s useful enough to where it will pay for itself in the long run.
We’ve had a couple suggestions about companies that could handle our task. We realize the project is a bit out of the range of just a web designer, so we are open to the fact we should spend more to get a web development company to help make our project come to life. After doing some research, we need to find a company like this web design dubai one – a company that could easily handle a medium or large sized project without having many unexpected delays.
If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations we are all ears right now, since we have not decided on a company to work with just yet.
Every once in a while, someone comes through with a trade offer, and while we always wanted to entertain the idea of a trade, we never really had a chance to expand past having cars. Since we are open to working with investors moving forward, we plan to be more receptive to trade offers that aren’t necessarily vehicles.
We also plan to have cars in all price ranges, so we will be able to think about non-traditional trade offers. Recently someone asked if we would take a trade for the best zero turn mower out there.
To be exact about the trade, it was a Swisher 27HP riding mower with a whopping 60-inch blade on it! To be fair the original price for it that we agreed upon was $4,000 trade in credit towards a car on our lot, preferably as a down payment.
If you have an interesting trade that you’ve brought up to other dealers and they turned you down, then we urge you to let us know about your trade and we can see if there is anything we can do to make it happen. We have a wide selection of cars and an even wider selection of lenders to choose from if your trade-in doesn’t meet the price of the vehicle that you want.
Without wasting too much time, we wanted to quickly address how you should go about choosing the right locksmith so that you get the best service possible for an honest price.
First of all, we mention honest price because prices will always vary based on what kind of work you need done, but every locksmith should be able to give you an accurate price estimate without being there in person. Why is this important? It’s important because if you do not get some type of price estimate, then that leaves the opportunity for the locksmith to sneak in some fees that weren’t planned beforehand. By asking for a price estimate, and asking if there would be any unseen fees, you eliminate the chance of the locksmith trying to pull a fast one on you.
For example, let’s say you live in Detroit. What I would do is find a Detroit Locksmith company that is actually local to the area. We’ve found that all the major brand locksmith companies charge more in general, mainly because they have more employees to pay for, when compared to a smaller local company.
Besides that, there isn’t much else to look out for. Obviously if it’s late at night or an emergency I would search specifically for a 24/7 locksmith, but just be prepared to pay much more for this type of services.
During our downtime we all had more time to take care of personal things, and just enjoy life a bit more in general. Some of us were even lucky enough to take some trips abroad, and maybe that ultimately helped us get a better perspective on life, because it gave us a moment to reflect on how everything has been so far, and what we would like to do moving forward.
One of the wonderful places I had the chance to visit was the Golden Temple in Vellore India. First of all, just being in India was big culture shock, but then traveling to this quiet country-side area to visit this massive golden temple – well there’s no words to describe it. I believe it’s one of those things that you can really only appreciate if you experience it in person. You could watch a video or look at pictures, but you will never have that feeling of being there in person.
Well the title is a little bit misleading because it’s not necessarily a problem caused by the Google Chrome web browser, but while using Chrome the other day I received an error that said DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN when I was trying to get on Facebook. I thought the error was strange for one because I’ve never seen it before, and two how could Facebook be having a problem?
Upon doing research it looks like something with my internet was messed up, and many guides recommend that users should do things like “flush DNS settings” and something else about changing DNS settings back to default because something may have changed them.
It’s also worth noting that if the first solutions didn’t work (fixing internet connection issues) then possibly a fresh install of Chrome could also fix it. I have to say, I was close to just installing Firefox and seeing if it made a difference, but I’m glad I stuck it out because I prefer Google Chrome over both Firefox and the default Windows Edge web browser.
In the end I ended up following the directions to flush my DNS from the command prompt. I’m definitely far from being technically savvy, but most guides out there should be able to give step by step directions that anyone can follow, as long as you know how to type on a keyboard at least.
On top of doing a deep analysis of our company, we are seeking investors to help with our expansion. We aren’t necessarily holding out for the big guns like Franco Favilla, we will be open to anyone that wants to work with us that has a good track record, and hopefully has an understanding of our industry and business model. What we are not in the market for is working with loan sharks of any kind. We are fine with working with a new bank or credit union that is ready to get their feet wet in the automotive industry, but anyone trying to prey on our customer’s credit can look elsewhere.
Anyone interested with working with us please give us a call or an email and we can discus the details further.
To better serve our customers and lower fees/costs, we will be working with a business analytics agency. While we do have great records of our sales in the past, it is difficult to understand how to interpret the data so. This is where a business analytics company can come in and help us get a grasp of the numbers. With a deeper knowledge of how to run our business more efficient, and how to expand moving forward, that should bring the lower costs for the customers.
Needless to say, we are excited for the future and we are grateful for everyone that has worked with us over the years.
Stay tuned for more updates and have a great New Years!
